Escape to the unspoilt charm of Auvergne, and experience the beauty of rural France. In a quiet village setting, discover Manoir Delarue with 230 years of history and heritage, lovingly renovated by Iain and Gabrielle to create a home for our family and a haven for our guests. The coach house has been restored to provide 4 elegant suites, each furnished with French vintage furniture, contemporary decor and luxurious bathrooms. If you are coming as a family, come and stay in our gîte, spread over 3 levels and offering accommodation for up to 6, with the same level of comfort and attention to detail as our suites. From Manoir Delarue you can explore the rich countryside, culture and food of this remarkable part of France. We look forward to welcoming you!
We have four generous and unique rooms, each with a distinctive character.
Three rooms on the first floor and one at garden level with patio doors leading on to a secluded terrace.
Every room retains original features of the coach house, from stone walls to impressive oak carpentry.
Our gîte is available for weekly stays.
Check in from 5pm and Check out by 11am
Breakfast is included for every morning of your stay – freshly baked bread and pastries delivered daily from the bakery, eggs from our hens, homemade jams and granola are all on the menu to set you up for your day.
All our rooms can accommodate a cot, available for no extra cost, and Chantelle on the ground floor can accommodate an extra bed for a 25 € fee.
Full refund up to 2 weeks in advance. No refund of the 50% deposit if booking cancelled during the week prior to staying.
Yes please – for your first night with us, if we are serving dinner, it is helpful for Gabrielle to know in advance how many are eating. If it is not a table d’hôte night, Gabrielle offers a charcuterie and cheese board for 16 € per person, again booking in advance helps.
If you want to find out if dinner is being served on your first night with us, or if you want a charcuterie and cheese platter prepared for you, please email or call Gabrielle in advance.
We encourage children under 12 to eat with our kids, because dinner is late, long and leisurely. That way they can make new friends without grown-ups spoiling the fun! Supper for the children is normally 6:30 pm, dinner for adults is at 8 – 8:30 pm.
Well-behaved dogs are welcome to stay in Chantelle on the ground floor, but must be kept on a leash on the terrace and in the garden, because we have free-range chickens and cats.
