The coach house, terrace and park garden are entirely available for our guests to enjoy. Facing the house across the courtyard, we have a large terrace separated in to secluded areas by pergolas and flowerbeds planted with fragrant old English roses, honeysuckle, vines and many varieties of herbs and plants. A large outdoor kitchen is available for barbecues, and breakfast and dinner are served on the terrace around our large table which leads through folding doors in to the main sitting room.
The Terrace

The Coach House
This vaulted space with impressive oak beams comprises a large open plan sitting room and fully equipped kitchen with another family-sized table for meals when evenings are cooler. The kitchen is for guests to use and coffee, tea and soft drinks are always available. Stairs lead to the mezzanine library and to the three upstairs rooms. The library is well stocked, and it is here you can relax and read about all the things to do in the local area and beyond.
The Rooms
We have four generous and unique rooms, each with a distinctive character. Three rooms on the first floor and one at garden level with patio doors leading on to a secluded terrace. Every room retains original features of the coach house, from stone walls to impressive oak carpentry. Fine bed linen, handmade soaps, coffee and tea facilities in every room and personal touches will make you feel instantly at home. Cots available on request.
The Gallery
Take a flight of steps up from the sitting room to the gallery. A corner with a wonderful atmosphere and the perfect place to appreciate the architecture of the coach house. Here you can find a quiet moment to read and contemplate the next day’s adventures.
